Salem Collo-Julin, the editor-in-chief over at the Chicago Reader, and Adam Rhodes (one of its contributors) is researching an oral history-type story on the Gold Coast Leather bar and its role in establishing Chicago as a seminal site in the kink community.

Adam’s been looking through the amazing Gold Coast archives at Chicago’s Leather Archives and has interviewed folks there, but they’re having some trouble finding people who patronized the bar.
